El Mall Plaza: su página web y arquitectura como espacios de fantasma

Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe the architecture and the webpage of The Mall Plaza, seeing them as structured spaces made of fantasy and the ideological fantasy of a subject within the consumption sociology. There is an assignment to the theory of psychoanalysis from Jacques Lacan and the contribution of Slavoj �i�ek. Methodology is based on a structural-hermaneutical analysis of discourse. The corpus includes 13 photos and two discourses taken from its webpage. As conclusion, the architecture and the Webpage of the Mall Plaza are spaces given for a Capitalist Discourse that promotes a position of desire in the subject, which a fantasy structures a �reality of the virtual� for an iconofagic consumer which consumes the webpage and/or the architecture of the mall as a effect of ideological fantasy and where the freedom of consumption means slavery of enjoyment.
